Information on the processing of personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). This notice describes how TRADEYE collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
1. Data Collected
We collect the following personal data: email address (required for registration), full name (optional), platform usage data (analyses performed, chat messages, preferences), chart images uploaded for AI analysis. Images are sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) for processing and are not retained by Anthropic after analysis. Additionally, if you use the Brain features (Trade Journal, Pre-Trade Check, Post-Trade Debrief, upcoming broker CSV import), we process trade-related data: asset symbol, quantity, entry/exit prices, dates, P&L, source broker, and textual notes. These are treated as enhanced personal data under GDPR: never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes, hosted on EU Supabase servers, and you can request a CSV export (GDPR Art. 20) or full deletion (Art. 17) at any time. We do not collect trading platform credentials or banking information (payments are managed entirely by our payment processor).
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to: provide the AI chart analysis service, manage your account and preferences, process payments and subscriptions through our payment processor (we do not have access to your card data), send transactional emails (account confirmation, service notifications), and improve the quality of our service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Retention
Data is stored on secure servers in Europe via Supabase (AWS infrastructure, EU region). Uploaded chart images are automatically deleted after 30 days. Your account data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request. Backups are deleted within 90 days.
4. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data and obtain a copy, rectify inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your data (right to erasure), restrict or object to processing, request data portability in a structured format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
